What is I.P address
I.P address is the famous word in the world of internet.Its full form is internet protocol address it is generally a numerical arrangement which is given to all electronic thing.I.P address is very important and it gives two facilities
- First is that it helps in recognizing the network.
- Second it helps in finding out the location.
The designers of internet protocol has assumed the I.P address as 32 bit number.It is called internet protocol version 4 even now it is used.In this numbers are categorized in 4 blocks.
But because of rampant increase in the new internet connection and dismissal of the old ones a new system developed in 1995 that is IPv6 it is also known as rfc 2460.
